Our Good Works
The Directed Electronics Charitable Foundation (now the DEI Holdings Charitable Foundation)
was established “to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children in the communities
in which we do business.”
The Foundation has raised over two million dollars, and has disbursed hundreds of thousands
of dollars to multiple children’s charities, helping tens of thousands of children in need.
Beneficiaries include the Boys & Girls Clubs of Vista, Oceanside, San Clemente and Temecula,
CA that support a safe place for kids to learn and grow; Casa de Amparo, San Diego, CA that
treats and prevents child abuse and neglect; and North County Solutions for Change, San
Diego, CA that provides solutions for homeless children.
The Foundation has also reacted to
natural disasters around the world by donating to earthquake relief in Haiti, and earthquake
and typhoon relief in Asia, helping families rebuild their lives after these devastations.
The DEI Holdings Charitable Foundation has made it possible for our beneficiaries to upgrade
their facilities, purchase much needed supplies, and most importantly, help underprivileged
children. The Foundation’s goal is to continue to distribute roughly half of all funds raised
in any year directly to carefully screened and deserving organizations that share our goal
of helping impoverished children, while the balance of the funds are invested to provide a
perpetual annuity to allow the Foundation to continue to generously donate to these worthy
causes for many years to come.
